Vert nice man!! I would like to know how did you make it. Did you draw it? Excellent. Thanks

Hi Marco. This was made from a very old, very cool engraving. I restored many parts but did not draw it.

Very nice. Could you describe the steps to making the faded background? I’m particularly interested in the stained parchment effect. Thank You!

Hi Jonathan. The parchment effect is from 2 photoshop layers:
TOP LAYER-closeup of the vector using OVERLAY layer effect, layer OPACITY set to 50%
BOTTOM LAYER-common light colored paper texture (google “free paper textures”)

That’s it. Hope that helps! Actually here’s the Photoshop file if you want to check it out.

Hello,

I like this vector and I am looking for a medieval drawing for a book cover that I’m designing. which is about a portuguese king. Can I use it?
Should I identifify the vectors copywrite? Or is it those kind of drawings that at some point are so old and used that cand be used without identifying the artist. Do you know from which engraving did you took.

Thank you for your time and dedication to vectors.

SENI: Yes you may use it as you described.
